Japan Pharmaceutical Licensing Association was organized in 1990 by 7 executives from major pharmaceutical
companies active in Japan, as managed by the Pharma Forum Institute (K.Nakamura, Ph. D.)
The purpose of its monthly meeting is to get-together once a month (third
Wednesday, usually) at the Imperial University Club (Gakushi-Kaikan) in
Tokyo for inviting a distinguished speaker from academia and industry from
here and abroad on the current topics of mutual interest and for upgrading
ourselves. The presentation is followed with a buffet party. The present
members consisting of 210 corporate members and 340 individual members
covering all of drug companies active in Japan.The meeting collects 100-120
representative attendants, usually.
The JPLA
presents opportunity for bioventure companies and translational research
performed in universities and research institutes to present their projects to the monthly
meeting for a 15 - 60 min period on the every third Wednesday starting at
3:00 pm at the Imperial University Club (Gakushi-Kaikan). If you
